OnePlus 6 image leaked showing three colour variants

NEW DELHI: A bunch of OnePlus 6 details are already out by the company but still, a lot remains to be unraveled. We already know the smartphone will be featuring a bezel-less display with a ‘notch’, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint at the back. But a new leaked image now hints us at the smartphone’s possible colour variants.

The new image shared by a user on Weibo shows the smartphone in three colours, of which one will be the first ever for the company. The smartphone is seen in a navy-Blue colour in the image alongside White and Black variants. The handset maker already has launched its previous smartphones in Black and White (Star Wars Special Edition) but the Blue colour, if true, will be something new for the fans.

The image only shows the back side of the smartphone, which shows both the side bezels and the entire back in the same colour. The alert slider, however, is seen in Red colour but the fingerprint sensor area and the power button have the same Blue colour tone.

What’s interesting to see is that the three colour versions are seen sporting glass back panels instead of metal. Could this mean wireless charging will finally arrive this time? Who knows.

Although the leak shows the upcoming OnePlus 6 in Blue colour, they seem to be rendered so don’t place your bets on the new colour variant just yet.

What you can actually place your bets upon is on the fact that OnePlus 6 will come with iPhone X-like gesture features, a notch, bezel-less screen and an alert slider that will now be used to focus on the subject whenever the camera app is opened.

It is not for sure when OnePlus plans to launch its smartphone, but based on the increasing number of teasers coming directly from the handset maker, it may be arriving sooner than its usual June launch timeline.
