Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus are already under works

NEW DELHI: Samsung is still encashing on the sales of its Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ smartphones, which were launched at MWC 2018 slightly over a month ago and the reports for the ‘Galaxy S10’ are already online. According to The Bell, Samsung has already started working on the next year’s flagship smartphone, tipped as the ‘Galaxy S10’.

The South Korean tech firm is once again said to be working on two devices, which will come as the next-gen models for the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus. The smartphone’s designs have reportedly been finalised. Like it has been the case since the Galaxy S8, the S10 smartphones too won’t take you by surprise with their ‘Infinity Display’ tech.

While the Samsung Galaxy S10 is said to sport a 5.8-inch screen size, its bigger variant is expected to have a 6.3-inch screen size, both of which are essentially the same as that of the Galaxy S9 and the S9+.

Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones, if the report is true, will finally make on-screen fingerprint tech a reality. The handset maker is said to be working with Qualcomm and Synaptics to fine tune the fingerprint sensor technology for the device.

The camera might once again be the highlight of the smartphone. The report adds that Samsung is working with Mantis Vision, an Israel-based company, to enhance the 3D sensors in the Galaxy S10’s camera. The company has already made some inroads in 3D face recognition in its smartphones and is also using the tech for its AR Emoji feature in the Galaxy S9 and the S9+.

Whatever might be the case, we may get some hints about the upcoming two smartphones later this year with the launch of the upcoming ‘Galaxy Note’ smartphone. The rumoured ‘Samsung Galaxy Note 9’ is said to come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor, according to a report by The Korean Herald.
