Airtel is offering 30GB data free to VoLTE beta testers

NEW DELHI: Country’s leading telecom operator Airtel has quietly rolled out its VoLTE beta programme to the telecom circles of Delhi and Rajasthan. Last month, the company had launched the programme was in select circles in India. With this, Airtel VoLTE Beta program is now live in West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Rajasthan and Delhi.

As part of the beta programme, the company is offering up to 30GB data free to users who come onboard.

To avail this data benefit Airtel subscribers need to follow some simple steps:



To get going, Airtel users need to upgrade to the latest operating system and enable the VoLTE in settings. They will then receive the first 10GB data installment. After this, the next 10GB data will be issued after the fourth week once they provide the feedback. Then the final 10GB will be credited to their account after the 8th week of feedback. Users need to ensure that you have a working 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone with an active Airtel 4G SIM card.



All those users who want to be a part of the Airtel VoLTE beta programme can check the eligibility by visiting the company’s VoLTE beta page. On the page, they will ned to validate their mobile number.



The company also has a caveat for users enrolling for the beta programme that they may face network fluctuations during the testing.



The company claims that Airtel VoLTE enables the users to make HD voice calls and enjoy three times faster internet connection. The company is presently offering 4G VoLTE services in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Karnataka, Chennai and Kolkata.
