Vivo V9 Youth with dual rear cameras launched at Rs 18,990

NEW DELHI: Vivo, nearly a month after the launch of its Vivo V9 smartphone, has expanded the series with the V9 Youth. The handset will cost you Rs 18,990 and is available starting today across offline stores. The device will be made available online from April 24. You can get your hands on the smartphone from ordering it via Vivo E-store, Flipkart.com, Amazon.in and Paytmmall.com.

The V9 Youth focuses on its camera capabilities. The highlight of the smartphone is its dual rear cameras with 16MP+2MP sensors. Selfie lovers get a 16MP camera at the front alongside the AI Beauty feature.


As for the rest of the specifications, the Vivo V9 Youth sports the same 6.3-inch FullView Display 2.0 with 19:9 aspect ratio screen as the V9 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. The smartphone even supports microSD card up to 256GB.

Running FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, the smartphone is backed by a 3260mAh battery.

For reference, the Vivo V9 is available at Rs 22,990 but sports a better processor with 64GB inbuilt storage. It also has 24MP front camera along with 16MP+5MP rear camera setup. The processor too is more powerful as compared to the V9 Youth – Qualcomm Snapdragon 626. You can buy this device from Amazon India.
